Every neighbourhood in Thames Valley has a dedicated Neighbourhood Policing team that works together with the local community and partners to prevent and reduce crime and disorder, improve neighbourhood conditions and feelings of security.

In August 2017, The Rose Hill, Littlemore and Iffley Neighbourhood Team moved into their new office at Rose Hill Community Centre.

Having the Police office at Rose Hill Community Centre means the Team can be involved within the heart of the community and has given the opportunity to engage, offer support and advice, building on positive relationships with those who visit and use our community centre.

Neighbourhood Policing emphasises a local approach to policing that is accessible to the public and responsive to the needs and priorities of communities.

They aim to make our community safer through an approach that is focused on visibility, engagement, problem solving and community resilience.

Their team work a shift pattern made up of day shifts and late shifts in order to respond to a variety of incidents and concerns throughout the neighbourhood.

Due to this shift pattern, unfortunately the office cannot be permanently resourced. A Police A-Board outside of the Centre shows when the team is on duty or you can ask a member of staff at reception.

If you wish to discuss a Police matter or concern with a member of the team, please feel free to knock at the door and we will be happy to assist you.

If you need to report a crime, please call 101 or in the event of an emergency call 999.
